Mabubay leads 2023 COMSOFIL Annual Election

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The top 16 Board of Directors for the year 2023 have been chosen during the annual election of COMSOFIL Board of Directors on the 25th of November 2022 in Elite International School Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the said election was conducted during the general assembly and graduation rites of the Society.

The active members of the Society cast their votes from the twenty-one (21) aspiring candidates to be the next Board of Directors and lead the society for the year 2023 operational activities. Week after the election, the sixteen newly-elected Board of Directors from various professions have convene to select the eight key positions through the initiatives and guidance of the Board of Trustees were Mr. Michael D. Mabubay who has been serving the Society for more than 4 years was elected President.

I have seen the power of transforming our society and all its staff into a friendly and productive working environment, where we are able to communicate clearly and efficiently to properly addressed our views for the future success Mabubay said who joined COMSOFIL in 2018 as student of Healthcare and Caregiving before he became a member of Board of Directors and handled key position as VP for Finance for three consecutive years since 2020. He is currently working in King Fahad Medical City and a dedicated father to his family.

Other key positions are the VP Education, VP Membership, VP Finance, VP Engineering, Secretary, PRO and Auditor were obtained by Roger F. Nachor, Junel B. Guiriba, Charlotte L. Villones, Antonio A. Gayeta, Remedios Pigao, Gemma G. Maula and Farcena S. Mohammad respectively, while remaining positions for Assistant VPs were given to Jovelyn C. Arong, Alvin E. Baroga as AVPs for Education, Jesie J. Maglay as AVP for Membership, Orly U. Candaza AVP for Finance, Sittie Aisha S. Pontino AVP for Public Relations and AVPs for Engineering were assigned to Rex L. Manio, Jose T. Atienza and Antonio N. Dumaguing Jr.

“To foster professional development and improve organizational processes to enhance quality education programs and support services to ensure every OFWs learning and success is one of my objectives,” the President-Elect said.

The newly elected officers will assume their offices on January 1, 2023 and they are now currently on their transition period. Induction of Officers are scheduled to happen on December 16, 2022.
