Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Board of Directors of COMSOFIL from Riyadh and Al Khobar Chapter meet on Wednesday February 23, 2023 in Ilonggo’s Restaurant Al Khobar Saudi Arabia to discuss a new update and establish the uniformity of the Society for the smooth sailing of their operations activities.

A meeting focused on the current status of Al Khobar Chapter and the updated policy and procedure of the Society including its terms and conditions that will be laid down once it is finalize.

Present during the meeting from Riyadh Chapter are BoT Juanichi Ulanday, BoT Nomer Cenil, who joined via video call thru messenger, President Michael Mabubay, VP Finance Charlotte Villones, AVP Membership Jesie Maglay and former VP Membership Nerissa Pantaleon while from Al Khobar Chapter are BoT Andy Rivera, President Lemuel Balanoba and the members of the Board of Director namely; Arwyn Rosales, Roger Tisara, Melanie Cedeño, Tommy Nuñez, Julian Macalanda and Elvis Español

Leaders from Al Khobar Chapter strongly expressed their struggles in terms of number of enrollees, venue and volunteer instructors. Discussions within the Society’s new updates will finalize within the week and assuring that all supports needed by Al Khobar Chapter will be in place including the Assessment of TESDA that will take place on June 2023 here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia through and under the auspices of Philippine Labor Office (Department of Migrant Workers).

COMSOFIL Al Khobar Chapter was established in 2005 as one of the branches of Computer Society of Filipinos International Incorporated since then the Society was able to provide community service and offer a wide range of high practical hands-on short cluster courses in Information & Communications Technology (ICT) such as Adobe Photoshop, Project Management, Document Control & Data Management, Microsoft Office (Basic & Advanced), Building Electrical System, Bookkeeping, AutoCAD 2D, Fiber Optics and other related computer programming. In 2017 the COMSOFIL Al Khobar was recognized as one of the Outstanding Filipino Community Organizations in Eastern Region given by the Officer-in-Charge of Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

A meeting was ended with a sumptuous dinner.
